People constantly ask me what Blackbot is, what we do, what our pitch is.
Well, I've come to the conclusion that Blackbot is not a business, at least not according to the rigid definitions that govern what is expected of one. It's not about pursuing profits, nor about that constant search for clients or proving its worth in exchange for money. Blackbot is not governed by these rules; its purpose is rather to experiment.
Blackbot is a constantly evolving fabric. It's a handmade warp, where each thread represents a creative practice that in turn gives life to new ways of doing, thinking, and dreaming. It's like an invisible weave that connects our ideas and desires, a channel through which the power of the intangible flows until it becomes visible in the world.
It's my refuge, a space where I can stop to contemplate the sky and let stillness envelop me. Blackbot has been designed with an efficiency that is not measured in speed, but in the way it molds to our creative bodies, to our energies. It's a protection that doesn't isolate, but envelops and shelters us, while allowing us to remain open to our surroundings.
It's light like a travel blanket that can be taken anywhere. I can spread it over the jungle, the sea, the forest, or on the very border of time, between past and future. Despite its lightness, it's incredibly elastic: it can stretch and encompass whatever is necessary, offering shelter to others who, like us, are looking for a place to rest.
When I think of Blackbot, I feel peace. Creating it was an act of liberation, a permission to stop, to be and let things flow towards me without any kind of pressure. Blackbot is where I find freedom, a safe space to be in touch with my being and with the world around me. It's a slow weave, unhurried, that keeps growing and transforming, allowing me to continue being myself while dancing to the rhythm of my own evolution.
Thanks to all the people who have let themselves be enveloped by this fabric, and special thanks to Jon for being a crucial part of this interweaving. Happy 9 years, Blackbot. Let's keep weaving this thread to be and transcend.
Regarding the text: Should it be singular or plural? Should we use 'my' or 'our'?
